Wi' lies seam'd like a beggar's clout;
Three Priest's hearts, rotten, black as muck,
Lay stinkin, vile, in every neuk. ----

As Tammie glowr'd, amaz'd & curious,
The mirth & fun grew fast & furious:
The Piper loud & louder blew,
The Dancers quick & quicker flew;
They reel'd, they set, they crost, they cleekit,
Till ilka Carlin swat & reekit,
