Learning about Robert Burns at Robert Burns Birthplace Museum is designed to be fun, engaging and interactive.  We cater for all age groups and abilities.  Our learning resources have been written specifically to meet Curriculum for Excellence attainment levels, and our learning approaches are interdisciplinary and interactive, which place your students at the centre of the learning experience.

• For primary schools we offer a combination of workshops about Robert Burns for children and guided tours. We also support teachers with a self-led teachers pack and post workshop follow-up activities

• For secondary schools we offer a bespoke workshop planning service, specialist-led workshops and a guided tour service

• Thanks to generous support from the Scottish Government we are able to offer a transport subsidy to schools wishing to visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. Schools can claim 75% of their transport costs up to a maximum of £250. Follow this link for the Subsidy Form

The programme and image pack have been created by learning staff at RBBM, with the support of NTS Learning Services.
