Museum Cafe

The stylish Museum Cafe can be hired for exclusive evening events including drinks receptions, dinners and Burns Suppers. During spring and summer months guests can spill out onto the beautiful landscaped gardens and enjoy the scenery dotted with unique sculptures. 

 

 

 

 

 

The Robertson Room

Adjacent to the restaurant and opening onto the gardens, the Robertson Room offers flexible meeting space with all the necessary modern day business facilities. 

 

 

 

 

The Pavilion

In the grounds of Burns Cottage, this Victorian building is in a truly unique and inspirational setting overlooking the humble dwelling where Robert Burns spent his childhood.

 

The Red Room

This spacious and versatile room can be used for presentations, meetings or dining for up to 60 guests. The Gallery, Stained Glass Room and Library are all conveniently located for breakout space. 

 

 

 

 

 

The Gallery

Adjacent to the Red Room and accessible from an inter-connecting door, the Gallery’s high ceiling and state-of-the-art equipment including blackout facilities and built in audio visual presentation system provides modern day business requirements in a unique setting. 

 

 

 

 

The Stained Glass Room

The Stained Glass Room is a bright and colourful space that can be used for smaller presentations and meetings or as breakout space. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Library

The Library offers a quiet space for small boardroom meetings or as breakout space.

 

 

 

 

 

Burns Cottage

Robert Burns was born in this two roomed, thatched cottage over 250 years ago. This remained his home for 7 years. An intimate and exclusive space the Museum can host drinks receptions for up to 20. Enjoy a dram while learning how living in this cottage may have inspired the young Burns or create an unforgettable finale to your Burns Supper with a toast in the place where it all began.

 

 

 

 

Guided group tours of the Cottage are available on requests – minimum of 10 guests.

Whisky and wine tastings can also be arranged on request.
