Scots Wa-Hey Play Area.

Wa-Hey for play! – The fantastic new accessible play facility includes a mini Burns Cottage, Tam o’ Shanter zip wire, Witches Cauldron roundabout and Auld Kirk climbing wall and makes a feature of the Scots language which is used throughout our award-winning museum.

“To create Scots Wa-Hey we’ve taken loads of inspiration from Burns and Alloway and built a play area that is totally unique to this place. Not only is it loads of fun, but it’s a great chance to introduce our younger visitors to the bard and his words in a really engaging way.”
